Mission
Statement
The Zephyrs Baseball
Club is designed to give players an opportunity to develop their
baseball skills while at the same time teach them about positive
sportsmanship, dedication and teamwork. The purpose of our club
is to keep it fun and focused on development while keeping it in
perspective and keeping them all playing baseball at a high level.
The success of the Zephyrs Baseball Club will depend on the commitment
of each player and family. This team has been carefully selected
and each individual is equally important to the team. There is a
physical and financial commitment involved at this level. Attendance,
effort and skill will determine playing time. The manager and coach
will run practices. Additional help will be needed once practices
begin, so volunteers are always welcome.
Player
Commitment
As a player in
our Club, we expect you to make a commitment to the team, your coaches
and yourself. This means you should do everything in your power
to attend practices and games ready to work hard. We want you to
have a positive experience and always do your best.
Parent
Commitment
Parents play
an integral part in the success of our club. In addition to the
financial commitment and the time commitment, we also need your
support of baseball. We want the parents to have a good time positively
cheering on our team. If you gave any concerns over managerial decisions,
please discuss any concerns with the manager. All discussions should
take place after a game or practice, and never before, during warm-ups
or during a game. However, parents should be respectful of decisions
made and should not complain in the presence of team players.
